The "new" school building is the same building, minus a roof access stairwell, and with different tile textures... I don't see how they changed anything. It's still the same, big, posh school that is way oversized for the town of Muldraugh. Shame, really.

It's really cool to be just running around, with no fighting at the moment, but you hear something walking, so you look to the side and see trees falling down, that's when you realize: Titan! I saw that the first time, and though I've battled them before, I was still like: SHIIIIIIIIIT! 😂

a few details I'd like to add for people who already have their feet beneath themselves. 1a.While water bottles are good they're actually pretty average as far as water containers go! they carry 12.5 units of water per 1 kilogram of weight. (they hold 10 units of water and weigh .8kg) Beer bottles (the glass ones) are slightly better as you can carry 2 of them, they'd weight the same as a water bottle but hold 20% more water holds 6 units weighs .4kgs (x2)). whisky bottles are a fair bit rarer then either of those but carry almost 20% more water then a water bottle while weighing less on top of that (holds 12 units, weights .7kg)! 1b.Also it can be helpful to keep a 2nd water container favorited in your backpack, you automatically drink from the one in your inventory, so it could be empty if you forget to refill it regularly. By keeping a 2nd bottle spare in your bag you have a backup and a reminder to refill whenever your main bottle runs out. 2a.If you can't find vitamins you can carry energy drinks, coffee, or tea on your person to fill a similar roll, additionally alcohol can be used in place of sleeping pills if you are unable to find any. 3a. alcohol can reduce stress but causes you to generate less body heat, increases input delay for vehicles, and crucially increases fatigue generation so it's a mixed bag 5a. the suture needle and suture needle holder are generally the preferred method to do stitching, however you can also use a regular needle, found in sewing kits. The only difference I could find was that the suture needle will cause your character to be in less pain from the resulting stitches. Additionally remember to remove your stitches after your deep wound is done healing as otherwise it will remain open and prone to infection. 7a.All items you don't immediacy need access to should be kept in a bag not in your main inventory. My method of looting later into the game involves me with 2 fanny packs and some sort of backpack. most of your essentials can likely fit into the fanny packs to be carried with you continually bandages, various meds, needle and thread, etc. where heavier things can be either favorited to the inside of your favorite backpack hammer, saw, spare water bottle, etc

1:30 Really do not like the reskinned Muldraugh Police station. No American police station located in Kentucky (or any other state) either in 1993 or today has that much barbed wire and security. Really hoping to be able to NOT add the new reskins.

Crackhead is by far the worst debuff. Screws you over if you don't get your fix every 30 minutes, makes you restless, and worst of all I died because zombies got me while I was stealing a catalytic converter for more crack

I have hopes my grandchildren will see the NPC´s for the single player. That´s the only thing I care about because after a while it feels like Minecraft. Full of stuff but totally empty. Boring. Lonely, etc. And yes...I know there is the chance of playing "with friends" (typical phrase to make likeable the most obnoxious way of playing games) and stuff...but I honestly can´t think of something more anti-"my own story" than another human being laughing, making jokes or acting goofy and ruining my personal experience. I can´t care any less about 2 more floors for a building or stuff like that.

i dont like the work benches and the new crafting system it just looks like a head ache un neccecery needeng to have 100 diferent benches at your base whitch will bind you to your base aspecialy if you play on harder dificultys with no cars aspecialy in like 10years after scenarios when will you find a car that would bind you to 1 location almost indefenetly unless you whant to walk everywhere and hope you wont need to craft something

man I really like the lighting updates. It's weirdly one of the things I'm looking forward to most, something about the atmosphere is both nostalgic and eerie with those streetlamps Also looking forward to the map revamps. I never realized how strange the flat building look was until I saw the improvements

I stopped using Railcannon at level 8 and 9... It's a big cool down to blow the armor off 1 out of 6 Bile Titans I've always seen rail cannon as a great starter stratagem though, highly recommend it for anyone at rank 5 doing thier first Titan

Noticed with the Muldraugh school update, in the roof there's a roof access and beside it is a ladder, could this be a usable ladder? Have they mentioned adding ladders in build42 (sorry not up to date with all deets)

I'm really looking forward to the update but I agree the devs need to be more careful with their communication. When one week the devs say that there will be more information about a release date soon, and then the next week when people ask them about it they give a snarky comment in response, it doesn't feel very good. Like Lemmy said, if this was a paid DLC we would not even have heard about it yet so they need to follow their own advice and clam up! The more info and teases they give the more people will complain :/

Its good but the atmospheric modifier takes the "precision" out of it, honestly the debuff shouldnt affect the precision strike because its use depends on where i want it to land, hence the "precision" strike

A simple mod to help with role playing or giving a new goal, is the cure mod. Customizable to a point and can bring you places you wouldn’t go before, and gives you a goal if you’re playing with regular transmission

I started playing Zomboid a few weeks ago, and I've definitely been sleeping on it, I'm pretty decent surviving on the "Survivor" Difficulty now and my longest character has lasted 3 months now, and has over 500 zombie kills, I've dipped into mods but most just simple QoL mods like the one that lets rain wash blood off cars, and some mods to add more variety of vehicles/weapons/clothes that is lore friendly
